- Attempting to hack, scrape, or reverse engineer the application

4. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to CoHabby (photos, messages, profile information). By submitting content, you grant CoHabby a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of providing and improving our services.
Content Standards
All user content must be appropriate, truthful, and comply with our community guidelines. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
5. Matching Algorithm and Compatibility Scores
CoHabby uses personality quizzes, preferences, and other information to calculate compatibility scores and provide housemate matches. These scores are estimates and should not be considered guarantees of compatibility. CoHabby is not responsible for the outcome of any relationships or living arrangements that result from using our services.
6. Privacy
Your use of CoHabby is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using CoHabby, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Subscription and Payments
CoHabby may offer premium features or subscriptions. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. Subscription pricing and features are subject to change with notice.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings menu. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we deem harmful to CoHabby or other users. Upon termination, your right to use CoHabby will immediately cease.
9. Disclaimers
CoHabby is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- The matches or compatibility scores will be accurate
- Any housemate arrangements will be successful or safe
- User-provided information is truthful or accurate
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoHabby and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of CoHabby.
11. Safety and Background Checks
CoHabby does not conduct criminal background checks on users. You are solely responsible for conducting your own due diligence before meeting or entering into any living arrangement with another user.
Always meet in public places and take appropriate safety precautions.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of CoHabby will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Effective Date" and posting a notice in the app. Your continued use of CoHabby after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
